Updates About Side Projects
SaaS Screenshots, iamopentowork
Hi, my lovely 1.763 subscribers,
Every week the number of subscribers I have is decreasing, but it's okay for me.
We are fine-tuning this newsletter, and I would like to thank 466 people who opened my every issue from day one. 🙏 🙏
And also, I checked the last week's issues opening rate, and it was close to 63%. This means that list-cleaning worked totally. This week, I will share the latest updates regarding our side projects. And at the bottom, there is an idea session which I would like to get your comments on.So, let's start.
SaaS Affiliate Programs
After the launch of our website on PH, we didn't get any traffic from other channels because it's hard to update the content. We need to do it manually but don't have enough time.
We have been posting affiliate programs daily on Twitter, but they didn't get a decent amount of reactions. At the moment, we have 33 followers. If you want to follow, here is the link.
So, we decided to list this site on websites like flippa, sideprojectors and others to see the reactions of potential buyers. In 18 days, we made 300$ from this site and more than 1.500 people visited. Ping me through my email - [email protected] - if you have any questions.
Customer Success Jobs
This site is going well compared to the previous one. We launched this on Jan 11, and till then, we had more than 3.000 visitors. We also collected 84 emails, and the number of followers on our LinkedIn page exceeded 100.
We partnered with UserGuiding and Custify and they will share our site with their audience. This means that its organic traffic might increase in the coming future cus we will get backlinks from two strong sites.
This site has the potential to bring more traffic as its content is updating automatically, and when a user visits, they see a different job posting.
It also has the potential to grow with SEO-oriented articles related to customer success people such as "customer success interview preparations."
SaaS Screenshots - Launching Soon
Screenshots space is not a blue ocean, including competitors like saasframe, saaspages, saaslandingpage and others. They shared the most well-known companies' screenshots to inspire designers and marketers. But the thing is, their content needs to be updated regularly. So once you visit one of those sites, you can see a screenshot from 2020.
We want to be the most extensive SaaS Screenshot database, including many page categories, and update the screenshots every two months. We are searching for ways to do it, but we know this will bring value to its users.
We plan to launch the website on Feb 15, so if you're interested; share your email address to get the early bird discounts from the link here.
#iamopentowork - Idea Session
As the number of layoffs increases in 2023, we are considering launching a website listing people affected by layoffs. Still questioning and need to get your opinions.
Have you ever seen a site before?Do you think it has the potential to grow? Please share your suggestions and any ideas with me.Here is the website that I created as a landing page, and 60 people shared their info with us.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
That's all for this week. If you are building a site project or would like to build one in the coming future, please share it with me through email, and I can share my opinions. And here is our embedded version so you might share it with your audience.
